OK these pics are from last summer when we went upstate and had our birds of prey day.
Sean's niece, Anja, inspired me to put some pics up.
This is me and Mandarin, a golden eagle owl.
Below is Sean with the falcon, though I forget his name. He had the prettiest blue feet.
We did tricks with the hawks, flying one of the birds in a forest between us and through trees and through loops we made with our arms. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in birds of prey. Talons! was the name of the place in upstate NY and they had the falcon, the eagle, 2 hawks and a crow. They teach you how to make the tools you use for falconry to train the birds. And you also cut up dead mice to feed to the birds.
